Our People
Nick Smith, Managing Director
Nick is the Managing Director of Global Decarbonisation Advisory, focused on bringing together people, projects and capital to accelerate decarbonisation in an economical and sustainable manner across the world.
Nick is the current President of the International Association for Hydrogen Safety (HySafe), is a member of the International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association's(IHFCA) Technical Committee and has extensive experience as an executive and non-executive director.
Nick has led the teams delivering global leadership in decarbonisation across the energy, mineral extraction and processing sectors. Prior to commencing GDA, Nick held a range of senior executive and leadership roles across government, gas and construction materials sectors delivering strategy, policy and commercial advice along with full accountability for business performance and profitability.
Nick holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Energy.
